Christmas Day

We had a great Christmas!!! Brent and Abby were here with there two little girls. We had a great time. We woke up at about 7:30 or so and opened all the presents. Then we had the traditional breakfast of Sauage, bread and gravy, which was delicious. Then we played games and the girls went sledding and made snow angles.
I love this picture of Laura I had to share!

I got some clothes and I also recieve the most adoreble pair of Fatbaby boots. Here they are, aren't they cute!!! I was so excited.

I do have to say that one gift in particular that sparked everyones curiosity this year. It was from Tim and Kathie McGarry. It was wrapped it duck tape (Three layers of it, I might add) and tied with a twine bow. I do give them credit it was very cute and creative. I started opening it and about 15 minutes later finally got into it. (yes 15 minutes later) that was the purpose of the duck tape I was later told by Tim. I got it opened and to my surprise I found a big chunk of coal. my first thought ( How Rude) as I always say. but than a I found a new pair of chaps. I was so excited.

Tim and Kathie also got me a new pair of spurs for my Birthday and Tannis Spaulding got me a hat so now I have the Hat the Boots the Spurs and the Chaps. I am all set!!!!

Annual Christmas Eve Dance

I do have to admit this is kidda lame. However I have not missed one year in all of the nineteen years I have been alive, so I just had to go. We had a great time. It was fun seeing all the traditional people there. I might mention this dance has been going on for 103 years. I remeber my dad telling me stories of him going when he was a kid so I just had to go.

I have a picture of Sara, Allie and I in front of the tree, when we were 5 years old, so we had to get another one.

We did sit on Santas lap (just for the bag of candy of course). however I do admit that when I got home I was a little disappointed in the bag of candy. For some reason I had in my mind they used to be a little bit more exciting. Overall it is a fun Christmas eve tradition so I will probally be there again next year.

Happy Birthday To Me

I just wanted everyone to know I am on my last year of being a teenager and am now officially getting OLD!!!

Christmas Caroling

This year some friends and I decided to go caroling. We have gone every year with the young women in the ward, and we now are to OLD. (Yes I know, its very sad). We looked forward to this every year. So this year we decided to take it upon ourselfs. We invited a few friends and just went to some people around the neighborhood. We have a great time other than it was freezing cold. Instead of us taking a ton of different cars we just piled into one of the guys pick-up( Hence the freezing cold). When we were done we came back and had hot chocolate and cider. Over all we had a great time, and I'm sure it will happen again next year. Here are some pictures!!

Christmas Candy

I'm so excited about this whole thing!!!!! Anyway, today one of my favorite Christmas traditions started underway. Mom started making candy and of couse it was my favorite kind, (Uncle Clairence). Its really called Boston Creams, so I don't really know why we call it Uncle Clairences. I suppose that who made up the reciepe. ( I know I'm so smart) I will have to look into that a little more. This kind of candy is hard to make, however I am just going by what mom says because I have never ventured out to make it on my own I just take her word for it. I'm just around to help beat it. After it goes hard you have to pull it like taffy until it gets soft again and thats my favorite part.

This has to be one of my favorites of mom. She wasn't very happy with me taking this picture. but whats new???
This is a picture that really states who I am!! Whats the fun of making it if you can't enjoy it along the way????( Sorry I don't know how to rotate it)
