Meet Junipur

This is Lexi and I getting ready to meet our new friend!!

Meet Juniper, he is the jollyest and most loyal friend you could ever have.

We are planing on Juniper staying until at least June, that is how we came up with his name!!

Juniper and the fam.

This is just one of two of Juniper's gardian angels.
Juniper wishes everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!

Merry Christmas!!

I love Christmas!! I was once again very blessed by all the gift I recieved from friends and family.

Lexi and I just after we finished opening presents before we started making the traditional sausage breakfast.

My Mom put together an amazing book full of family history. I'm so excited to read and get to know all of my ancestors.

This is a saddle bag (candle pouch) it is all leather. and it has my name engraved on it. My name is even spelled correctly, I was way excited, although I went through much frustration of getting the layers and layer of duck tape off. It was all worth it in the end.

This was Moms gift from santa. it is a quilt rack, so she can finally display some of the things she has made over the years
As you can now see, I was richly blessed and these are only but a few. I am so thankful for my amazing friends and family.

Christmas Time

I love Christmas Time. I wish I could capture a little bit of the spirit of christmas in a jar and open it every month of the year. although its seems almost unreal that it is that time of year again, I have tried to take part in the yearly traditions. I enjoyed helping mom make candy, and working on home made christmas gifts, (although I always come away realizing that things aren't as easy as they look in the store, and that I'm not near as crafty as I thought I was.) Oh well. I have also enjoyed reading christmas stories, making amazing carmal apples dipped in milk choc. and drizzled with white choc. with Lex, staying up late or getting up early and reading by the christmas tree, spending the weekend with family, gone caroling, and best of all taken a few minutes to reflect on my many blessings.
Lis and I reading on my bed.

Best Buds

This is my little buddy. He is the happiest baby I have ever seen. I love his little teeth.

The New Look

We have been repainting our house and this is the new look!!! It was dark when I took these pictures but I think you can still get the idea. Do you think we should paint the door to match the shutters???

My Nieces and Nephews

I have spent the past two weekend in Utah with family. It was a lot of fun. These are my sisters kids all decked out for Halloween. They are so excited. Kayla who is going to be Belle, Dylan a ferocious. bear and Bradyn is a happy little cow. Dylans was a little confused when my sister asked if he wanted to go hibernate for a while. I don't think he had as much fun as she had made it out to be.

These are my brothers kids. Laura on the left, Ryan, and Eden. They are so fun. They are full of energy. You can't walk in the door without Laura inviting you upstairs for a party, even if it just has to be just a "quick one."

Tis the Season

Tis the Season for canning. I do have to say this is one of my favorite times of year. My Mom is the best canner I have ever seen. I love to watch, In hopes someday I can do it on my own. we have done Corn, Spagetti Sauce, Beans and Apple Sauce. we still have beets and peaches. There is just something about pulling things out for dinner in the winter, knowing that they came from you own garden. Isn't my Mom amazing.

The Weekend Campout

Last weekend we were all able to get together at my Grandma's house. All 4 of us kids were able to be there. We all camped outside and had a wonderful time. There was fun to be had by all thats for sure. This is just one of the many pictures of the big family kick ball game. We all laughed so hard whether it was at Grandma running the bases with the kids, or Brent kicking the ball clear out in out field, or Me attemping to kick the ball and missing. I think we could enter something into Funniest Home Videos and win for sure. This is only one of the great meals that we had during our stay.
Their was water games going at all times of the day.
After our great dinner of BBQ ribs and salad of every kind, a walk to the park was very much needed.
This is a picture of all 5 of my nieces and nephews playing at the park.
We finished off the night with a camp fire where eveyone roosted marshmallows and had smores.

(Why do they call them smores??? because you always want S' More.) That is a joke I heard when I was a kid, and this reminded me of it.

This was my great attempt at a family picture. Its what you call set the timer and run.

The 4th of July

We were unable to get together on the 4th with all the fam, so Mom. Lex and I decided we would carry out the yearly tradition anyways. We brought Alyssa along with us to provide some good entertainment. We started out the day by painting our nails, we are very creative and by the end we have flags, stars, stripes, and alot of Red, White, and Blue. Then we all went to West yellowstone and we went to the playmill, we saw Hello Dolly, It was such a cute show, I recommend it to all. After that we saw the parade out main street of West Yellowstone and we got a bit to eat then hurried home for the fireworks in Idaho Falls . We had a great time. (note the fact that Lexi and I are sitting the exact same way: that was not planned.)

What do you get when you put two sisters in the kitchen at the same time???

Lexi and I have been taking a cake decorating class in Idaho Falls once a week. We have really had a lot of fun despite the fact that our teacher speaks very little English. The teacher's advice to us was to "Practice Practice Practice!!!" So tonight lexi and I took that to heart and this is what turned out!!! Just call me Gill, short of Gilllllbert!!!
Lexi's tasty trout
You can call me "Fancy Fins"
Lesha's Beasty Bass
"Oh No I think my fish is swimming away!"

I'M BACK!!!

So its been a while, I'm sorry for not updating sooner, however life has just been crazy. I will try to do better in the future. I finished my first semester of college. It was good but very busy. Although I was able to make my schedule so I only had class on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, which was so nice. Tuesdays and Thursdays were used to catch up on homework or get out of the house and have a little fun. I have spent probally at least one day a week out at work just to get away for a while. It has been very nice to just take a ride on the horses or watch the new baby calves. Here are a few pictures.

I bet you can't guess what number he is???
This calf was just barely born. I woke him up. He was relaxing in the sun. Isn't he cute!
I'm so excited, Spring has finally sprung here!! (at least I think). I have thought that a few times but I think this time its for sure. It got into the upper 40's today so that is very promising.
